Announcement: Why we built AI Content Ops

For more than 25 years I have worked in technical communication: structuring information so people can find it, understand it and act on it. In recent years I have spent much of my time teaching professionals, from technical writers to PhD students and librarians, to work with AI responsibly.

One pattern kept appearing. AI reflects what you bring to it. A vague request gets vague output. Clear structure, context and intent get far better results. Most teams already have the tools. What they lack is the clarity and the shared habits that make those tools reliable.

That is why Partha Srinivasan and I started AI Content Ops.

What we do

We train existing teams to use AI reliably in their daily work. Every session is hands-on, using the team's own documents and tools. Teams leave with a shared method, and the judgement to use it responsibly.

Who it's for

Teams that produce or manage content:

  • Documentation and technical writing teams

  • L&D and instructional design teams

  • Marketing and communications teams

The usual group is 5 to 20 people. The training is usually commissioned by an HR, L&D or OD leader.

How Partha and I divide the work

We first taught together on STC India's AI for Technical Communicators certification programme, delivered to cohorts in Bengaluru and Pune. That programme became the model for AI Content Ops.

I lead curriculum and delivery: prompting, context design and responsible use. My degrees in mathematics, psychology, and library and information science shape how I teach. Structure comes first, then attention to how people actually think and learn. Fourteen years as an NLP trainer taught me that new skills stick only when people practise them on their own problems.

Partha leads brand, marketing and operations, and teaches the ContentOps module: workflow structuring, automation and publishing pipelines.

"The programme came with pre- and post-assessment, a clear brief I could take to my manager, and outputs we actually used after the sessions." L&D Manager, GCC, Bengaluru (STC India programme participant)

Responsible use, in every programme

Every programme covers what to check in AI output, what should never go into a prompt, and where human judgement has to stay in charge. Ethical use is part of the method from the first session.

How to start

  1. Book a discovery call. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

  2. Tell us about your team, your tools and your content.

  3. We recommend a programme, or a combination, built around your material.
